How I Developed My Mind Tremendously In Just 5 Hours

The best phenomena I’ve seen in people who are developing their mind and achieving immense greatness in life is by the force of emotions. This biggest force helped me too in developing my mind tremendously in just 5 hours. I guarantee you that it can help you as well if you implement it in your own life.

Yesterday morning, after a long bike trip of 100 KM, finally I reached home. I felt very tired. I peeled off my clothes and went into the bathroom. After having the bath, I did my breakfast. Then I crumpled down on my bed.

For the past few years, I’ve never wasted my mornings. I believe a productive morning becomes a productive day. The first hour of our morning decides our remaining hours. I didn’t want to kill my morning in sleeping. Life is not at all to waste. I always make sure not even a moment of my life goes in vain.

The only thing drives me every time when I feel lazy is my responsibility to develop myself in every way and help others. Without thinking more about tiredness, I stood up from the bed. I put on my formals and made my way towards the library.

A library is the factory of knowledge. I have a strong belief that the only good food for our mind is books. Without books and a proper education, no one can develop himself and contribute his best self in his and the lives of people surrounding him.

I spent the next five hours in the library, continuously reading the books. I wrote down all the key points and important information in my journal. Earlier, I was exhausted but as I came out of the library, I felt lively. I was fuelled up with the ideas.

I returned to my room and spent the next five hours writing this post.

How emotional strength helps in developing the mind and body?

It is not new for me to continuously read books for five hours. I’ve done it for the umpteen times. Sometimes, I read books for more than 8 hours a day. The biggest factor that developed my mind is the invisible force, the drive that pushes me to use my potential to the maximum. I never cared how much money I’m earning or what respect I’m getting. This unseen force fills my blood with courage and helps me to give my 100% in my work.

When asked by Mohammad Ali that how many push-ups he does? He exclaimed, ‘I do not know. I only start counts when it starts hurting.’

Many people fail and give the excuse that they had no resources — time, team, management and especially money. But as a fact, these resources have very less value if we compare it with the efforts we are giving to our work.

Another example of emotional strength can be seen when Inderjeet Singh, the first Indian to win a medal at the world university games didn’t have money to buy a ball in his early life. He was not at all resourcefully-strong, but who can resist the person with tremendous emotional strength? Driven by his dreams, he practised shot put with the broken headlights of the damaged cars.

This is how leaders and artists develop themselves and the people who surround them.

We advance our mind and body not when we sound good, but we progress with the drive of our emotions. Remember, the man of wisdom is one who has grown by the emotions and knows how to finish the work even after getting exhausted.

There may be people who are born gifted, but it is impossible to find the people who are born with strong emotional strength. Emotional strengths are born from burning desires.

Talented people without the strong emotional strength are like the sailor who gets into the ship without the compass and who never can be certain whether he is going.

The only question I want to ask you what drives you? What is the work that pushes you to give your best? What is your emotional strength that can awake the self-discipline and determination in you?
